The battle lines have been drawn after a search for the battle field ended with the venue being Ellis Park Stadium.
Black Leopards are the home team against Almerreikh who are the opponents. The event is a second leg fixture of the CAF Confederations Cup. The team hopes all South Africans will be wishing us the best of luck and come out to see the boys lift the SA flag high.
On the away leg we lost the game 3-2 securing two away goals that will help us ease the battle in our own backyard. The boys played against Almerreikh at their home ground where 20 000 supporters were present to support the Sudanese team but held their own to go home with applause behind them.
Almerreikh might seem to be favourites as they are usual contenders in the CAF competition but Lidoda Duvha have upset a lot of teams and endured into the last 16 against a lot of odds. This fixture will surely prove no different.

On the 11 July 2012 the team held a press conference where Chairman David Thidiela assured the South African crowds that the boys in black and yellow will do their best to represent the country. Newly appointed national team coach Gordon Igesund along with Safa president Kirsten Nematandani wished the team the best and with those blessings Lidoda Duvha shall bring the fight to Ellis Park Stadium.
Both teams have only met once in their first leg and have since then been preparing for the deciding day. With experience and the first round victory on their side Almerreikh will be looking to finish what they started at home, but with confidence, team spirit and the will to play until the last whistle, Black Leopards want to surprise the Sudanese outfit and have them packing back home. The game takes place at Ellis Park Stadium Saturday 14 July, kick-off at 15:00pm.
