With 32 players in a squad there are different positions and shoes to fill. One of those players in the Black Leopards squad is Joshua Obaje the player focus for today. Not that the striking position is better than any other positions but Obaje makes it look extra special.
At just 22 years Obaje is showing signs of a great ability to strike at goal. He originates from Nigeria and joined Leopards from Heartland FC who interestingly are one of the two sides that have never been relegated from the Nigerian Premiere League.
Joshua has made 10 appearances for Leopards this season and has found the back of the net in 3 occasions. All the 3 goals he scored where from his left foot, then the right foot and one with the head, a sign of a prolific finisher. It might not be a very loud record but the youngster is still picking up his feet and should soon find his form with all the experience he is gaining from Lidoda Duvha.

Discipline is the most important attribute a player can have and Obaje does indeed qualify as he has no record of a single yellow card or a red card in sight and this is over 552 minutes of play in the field.
The PSL League is drawing to an end and the team is still near the relegation zone but with games in hand. Lidoda Duvha is a single point ahead of Santos who have 23 points from 28 games. Leopards have 24 points from 26 games giving them a chance to extend their lead from Santos. With the always improving Obaje it is key that he steps up along with his team mates and deliver the team from the axe.
