After a thrilling encounter that had a lot of Sudanese fans biting their nails, Black Leopards are back in their home soil.

The team landed at the OR Tambo International Airport today 2 July 2012 at 12:20pm to a warm South African day. The country should be proud of the Limpopo based outfit for enduring until this stage of the CAF. From here on anything is possible.

The CAF Confederations Cup was one good experience for the team both out of the field and on the field. The warm reception Lidoda Duvha received from the Sudanese was a well refreshing team building experience.

As soon as the team hit the green, it was evident that they meant business as they gave a soldier-like battle only to be defeated 3-2 at the end. The players will be happy with this score as they got themselves two away goals which may prove to be helpful when they face Almerreikh on the second leg at home.

Both teams will meet again on the 15 July 2012 on the second leg of the competition. Leopards will be home and looking to finish the job they started away in Sudan.
