Black Leopards say they still hope to achieve their goal of qualifying for the group stages of the 2012 CAF Confederation Cup.
Lidoda Duvha welcomes Warri Wolves to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday for the second leg of their second round match, trailing 3-1 from the first game in Nigeria.
The game was originally meant to be played in Giyani but the black Leopards players made a plea to reschedule the venue to Peter Mokaba Stadium as they felt that Giyani would be similar to Warri Township Stadium where they suffered a 3-1 loss.
Warri Township Stadium can house only 20000 fans as compared to Peter Mokaba Stadium which easily fits 41733 spectators at a time. It promises to be a hot encounter as both teams are yet to register a win since they played each other in the first leg. So far they have only managed to draw twice and lose twice in their respective leagues and winning this game can serve as refreshment.

Black Leopards can end the season safely without worrying about relegation and still have something to brag about in the success of their participation in the CAF competition. Spokesman Thandani Thidiela says that playing in the Confederation Cup has been a huge boost to the team as they seek to retain their top-flight status.
“Playing in this tournament gave us the chance to stay active and test new combinations in match situations, and we reminded the boys that they are just not representing Limpopo but the whole of the country. They took this responsibility very seriously and it’s evident in the results we’ve achieved,” Thidiela says.
“Our goals this season were to survive the chop from the PSL and we’re on track to do that and to qualify for the group stages of this tournament keep in mind we’re only two goals away. So we’re urging all the soccer loving public, no matter who you support to get behind Lidoda Duvha this weekend and be our 12th man as we represent the country.”
So if you are South African or a soccer fan and have no plans then get yourself a black and yellow jersey and a ticket to Peter Mokaba on Sunday and enjoy the display of football that will be dished out as Lidoda Duvha makes us proud.
