BL: How did you view the team’s performance all/during the season?
TT:
We had a shaky start, coming off a long season before that coming from playoffs and having reached the Nedbank final, but the long December break afforded the players a chance to rest and the management a chance to re-focus and from the turn of the year we picked up the tempo and that saw us climb up from the bottom of the league.

BL: How does the technical team feel about the achievements that the team has done, regarding the PSL survival?
TT:
Our primary objective was to remain in the PSL, the first season back it’s vital to stay in, the 1st two seasons back thus act as a foundation, consistency attracts sponsors and more importantly fans.

BL: Is the team still at camp or are they to have a break?
TT:
The team is on a deserved holiday until the 18th of June, they’ve been given individual programs to follow during the break, and it will be an active rest.

BL: What is the attitude towards the CAF Confederations Cup upcoming matches?
TT:
Confidence is high, we’ve defied expectations thus far, and we looking on being the 1st South African team to reach the group stages in this format.

BL: Is the team more motivated to play more in the CAF competition?
TT:
Look, no competition is more important than the other; the PSL is and always will be priority, as it affords us an opportunity to play in this competition.

BL: Any injuries or players moving from or to the team?
TT:
None, we have a strong and rigid team and we are happy.

BL: Coach Sunday returns, will the team be more effective and competitive?
TT:
Coach Sunday knows these youngsters as he helped assemble them with the rest of the technical team, they respond well to him, so next season will be a continuation of the form we displayed this second half of the season.

BL: What are the plans for the next season is the team preparing to finish in the middle or top of the table instead of fighting relegation?
TT:
No team ever plans on fighting relegation, we believe that the players we have, we’re capable of a minimum top 10 finish.

BL: Where will your home ground be, Peter Mokaba or Giyani?
TT:
Peter mokaba is our home base, and Giyani stadium is our alternate ground, and should Thohoyandou stadium be refurbished on time we will take a few games there.

BL: Thank you for giving your time to chat with us.
TT:
You are welcomed. Thank you.
